Alien Versus Predator

It was when I read an "Alien Versus Predator" comic at age sixteen that I first realized I wanted to make comics when I grew up. Sadly, few adaptations of the geeky conflict satisfy my nostalgia, so I drew this 14X17 on paper, scanned and colored it in Photoshop.
I've always kinda liked the Alien more. My first exposure to the Alien universe was from reading the novelization of the first film, written by Alan Dean Foster. In it, he avoided a detailed description of the creature and focused instead on noises and shadows to emphasize its otherworldly nature. In my mind's eye, I imagined the Alien as a mass of squirming, coiled muscle and viscera. While this depiction may not be faithful to the film version of the Alien, it satisfied my childhood imagining.
