Winter Trees

Acrylic on canvas from an old digital photo I took of the trees near the back of the library. I had hoped to bring across more of the harsh, barren cold of the scene, but the colors kept wanting to pop out more. I remember enjoying the challenge of running out of paint and having a very limited palette to work from in the past. Perhaps in the future I will consciously limit myself rather than keeping all of the colors at my disposal.
