Blue-Eyed Mister Butterfly

This was a long time in the making. I dug up some sketches from years back of a gnome girl on a mushroom with a butterfly sitting on her finger. I took the sketch and fiddled with it, and came up with this. So often I end up doing the scaly, spiky side of fantasy creatures, and seldom do I do the cute, cuddly kind. A lot of experimentation with the coloring style I use took place in Photoshop. I may come back to it in the future, I sense it's incomplete. For now, here it is.
